Correct PCD size for Dodge Journey 2010

I have a 2010 Dodge Journey, the tyre size is 225/65/R17 and the PCD is 114. Every where I read says that it is to be 127. What is the go as I would like to buy new rims and i am now confused on the PCD size. Can anyone share info on this please. Thanks

    Yes 17 inch wheels will fit your car as long as the bolt pattern is correct and you maintain at least an 17X8. Its the tire size you have to ensure. So something like a 225/65/17X8 would work.

    Anytime you change wheel size (ex. 19 to 17 or vise versa) or even put different tires on you will have to get an alignment done. As your previous alignment is set for a different size.

    Yes, but remember this. If you change your tires to something more thin you open yourself up to loosing protection to the outer lip of your wheels. Also if you slim down your tires you take away from stable Turing as wider is always better for curves and turns. Slimmer tires like 215 are better for winter as slimmer cuts through the snow better.

    No matter what you do when purchasing new tires the Inch part matters most due to the wheels inch must match the tires inch. So 19" wheels can only fit 19" Tires. So changing to 17" tires to save money, you would have to purchase new rims (Wheels).

  you would need to get 17X7.5 or 8 when it comes to the wheels. Once you take care of that then a 225/65/17 tire would be best. Make sure you get an alignment after placing the new wheels and tires on.

  Yes, but I would not suggest for summer as you will have to use a thick height tire like a 65-75. If for winter then no problem. Make sure if you do purchase new wheels that are 17 they are 17X7.5 or 17X8's.

  if you want your car do feel like its riding on rubber bands then go right ahead as they will fit tight. However it will affect your gas mileage, speedometer, comfort of the ride and road noise. My suggestion would be 20's. I'd go 255/40/20, this will prevent you from loosing all the above, but you have to get an alignment once you place different wheels and/or tires on.

Hello, I recently found some rims I like for my 2015 journey R/T... They are 20x8.5 with a 40mm offset. They will be 19mm wider than my stock rims on each side of the rim.

Looking at the clearance this dosent look like an issue... Anyone know if they will fit? (I will be using stock height equivalent 245/45R20 tires)

I used to own a 2010 dodge journey RT AWD.
It had 19 inch rims on it.when I needed snow tires for it I decided to go with 225/65R17 on seperate steel rims.
Now that sold journey and bought new car I have been trying to sell the steel rims with the snow tires on them
I have had lots of later model year dodge autos all of them trying to fit them on them on their cars all without success.
Is there any other model aside from the 2010 journey RT AWD that these rims will work on?

    Yes it's the offset..its 20" rim the bolt pattern is 5X127 same as my Dodge Journey RT..which have right now is 19"x7" 40mm offset..could I use that 20"rim and what would be the correct size to put on it?

      Hi,Joseph,the rim offset error is +-5mm,So compare with your current 40mm offset,56.4mm is too big for it.For 20'' rims,you can try to find 8Jx20 ET38,5x127,cb 71.6mm.this is the stock 20'' rims for your car
