So far, Junk

By Tom Richardson(Owner), Nov. 12, 2013

OMG so we take our almost new Polaris RZR that is badly broken due to some design failure on Polaris' part, and decide to bite the bullet and buy a new one with an extended warranty since we could not get any help from Polaris. Well, guess what, 172 miles on it and 15 days and the new one now needs ... a new clutch assembly and belt. POLARIS, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU AND YOUR PRODUCTS. Yes it is covered under warranty, but still a pain in the butt. Not to mention how it looks for Polaris products. The machine had 23 miles on it when we bought it and was making an odd noise, but we attributed that to new belts, should have turned right around and taken it back. Seems Polaris' filters do not work well in our desert conditions, at least that is the excuse the dealer gives us, so now we have to buy additional filter guards. Come on Polaris, not everyone rides in mud and rock. Read Full Review

keeps a no srart cranks ok

By Dan G(Owner), Apr. 7, 2014

my Polaris 900 has been in shop for 6 weeks of my 6 month warranty. crank shaft sensor, spark plugs what the hell. every time I go to ride it won't start. Hell I love my 800s 2011 never had any start issues. Beat on it always and hard. 900 big disappointment . really...$16000 for this bs.. really. I... 'd give it back if I could. Sorry Polaris you let me down on this one. Asked for extended warranty but refused..Please think of this while your new unit is in shop 6 weeks under the factory warranty.. Dan G. Read Full Review

Really like the machine

By Mike WHitehead(Owner), Sep. 22, 2014

I am only writing this to indicate I have not had issues so there is not much content to the posting. I have had this for close to a year now and really like it. Have had it out to Co. a few times now in the Ouray area and it performs flawlessly going over the mountain passes of the local trail sy... stems. I have over a hundred hours on it now and have not had any issues. The suspension and power are great for the way I ride (moderate). I did an easy break in period for the first 25 hours as the manual indicated and have completed all scheduled maintenance. I am by no means suggesting people with bad experience have not. Everything seems to be working and holding up well. I have ridded for 8 hours and found myself wishing it had more legroom but it is a minor complaint/minor discomfort (6'1' tall). Solid doors would help keep mud out but not much gets in the way I drive. Read Full Review
